Christmas on the Beach

For Christmas we headed down to Del Mar, California to spend a week with Josh's sisters and their families and his parents. In a house, on the BEACH. 

Before we left we had a "Christmas morning" with our little family. Josh and Ellie had the same bed head! haha

On the open road to california! I was a little nervous about a 3 month old being in a carseat for a million hours but this little beauty did awesome! 

She either slept or played with her new ring toys from Gma Jurgensmeier. 

We stopped at the rainbow store on our way to Del Mar. As you can tell from the picture, I was in desperate need of sun.. I'm glowing. Please excuse Josh's awkward stance. We wanted the flip flop in the picture and the lady taking it made him move in at the last second... 

Ellie was really excited to see her cousins and they were excited to share all their toys with her

The minute we let the triplets outside Taylor ran into the ocean! I ran to grab her and we ended up taking off her soaking wet clothes and letting her play around in it. When her lips turned blue we dragged her kicking and screaming from the water. That girl is too funny!

Cousin Halie painted Ellie's toes for the first time too! They were adorable! Ellie sat so still and good for her too. 

Grandpa Green walked Ellie along the beach everyday in this carrier so Josh and I could hang out in the ocean. She loved it (and I'm pretty sure he did too!)

Ellie is getting way too independent! She wouldn't eat because she wanted to always see what was going on around her so I finally gave her a bottle. She insisted on holding it herself!

We had an awesome time at the beach! We woke up early (5 am) because all the kids wanted to get an early start to the day ha, played on the beach, played some games, ate delicious food, and slept in the sun! It was so relaxing and we did not want to come back to snowy Utah when the vacation was over!
