Post Christmas

The weekend after Christmas Heather, Lance, and all the kids came to town. We were really excited to see them! For our Christmas present for the kids(and I guess their parents..), we had a sleepover at our house! We played games, made cookies, made necklaces, watched Elf, and slept out in the living room all together. It was quite a night! 

The next morning we woke up, ate breakfast and headed outside to sled behind the 4 wheeler in the field outside our house and sled down the hill right outside our door. 

Brad and Marianne stopped on their way to Rupert for a couple days and we played tons of games and watched football games allll day. We also rang in the new year watching the ball drop and banging on pots and pans outside. 

We're so excited for 2013! We've got some fun trips planned, new goals set, and can't wait to see what it brings!

Christmas

For Christmas, I got to spend a lot of quality time with my brother Bryce and my parents. Josh got to spend a lot of quality time with a snow plow. I'm pretty positive I had a lot more fun than he did! Bryce and I were in Rupert for about 6 days and Josh was in Rupert for about 6 hours, probably less. Even though I spent the majority of the Christmas holiday without my husband, I spent it with my family and it was really fun.

We played a lot of games and Bryce and I tried out something new. Kiteboarding in the snow right outside our house! Ok, Bryce did it and I watched and documented the experience.

We had chili and cinnamon rolls at my Grandparents house on Christmas eve with all the family that could make it. It was really fun hanging out with our cousins and we even stayed up until midnight playing games and laughing at our cousin Whitney's house.

Christmas morning Mom woke us all up blasting Mannheim Steamroller and we opened presents with Josh on Facetime. After that he jumped in his truck and headed up to Rupert.

Mom was freezing opening presents so Dad "made" her a fire. haha 

While Josh was driving, we were all talking to Elder Jurgensmeier! It was so fun to be able to actually see him and talk to him. The whole family got to join in because of Google+. I love Google+!

Other then talking with Kevin, my favorite part was when my two nephews Tate and Josh saw each other on the screen. They started talking and had their own little conversation. It was so cute! I miss those boys!

Josh got there and we ate a delicious dinner of Au Gratin potatoes, ham, and homemade rolls. Love my momma's cooking! We played a game and then Josh headed back to Midway to go to sleep so he could wake up and clear snow for the next three days... What a fun job!

A visit from the Bells

Marianne's sister Kim got married the weekend after school ended, so the Bell family came to Midway. Luckily for us, we're "related" to the Bell family in two different ways so they let us tag along in the festivities. I love the Bells! They're always fun to be around and make me laugh so much.

Josh and I were on triplet duty for the first two days while the Bells all went to things the day before the wedding and the next day at the wedding and reception. It was a lot of work but those babies are just so dang cute that it didn't matter. I wish I got some good pictures of them in their cute wedding outfits, but I didn't. Jen and the babies stayed for a few days afterwards as well! Here is an overload of pictures. of course. I can't help it!

 The next few pictures are of Taylor's crawl. Well, my attempt at capturing it. It is really hilarious and the cutest swim stroke/army crawl ever.

Victory!

We had so much fun with the babies and were sad to see them go. They've grown so much since we saw them in July/August. Its so sad that we have so many cute nieces and nephews and we all live so far apart! I'm so excited for my family's trip in May(seriously can't wait!) so that we can finally meet Liam and Kaiya and see everyone! I just love our families! 

Thanksgiving

For the Jurgensmeier Christmas Party this year, my parents were in charge so Mom asked Bryce and I to come up with something fun to do at the party. We decided on life size angry birds. Since Josh and I just moved into our new place, we had plenty of boxes, so we just had to find some balls, paint them, and then figure out a big slingshot for the bigger balls. I had tons of fun figuring out the different faces and painting the balls. Then Marianne helped me out with the last few in Rupert before Thanksgiving. They ended up being awesome! I was so excited with how they all turned out! 

And of course we had a little fun with the finished products.. 

 We also had to practice and see if they would actually work before the party so we set up a few boxes and also shot them off the deck.

The party was a great success! Josh and I couldn't be there because we were at his Grandpa Green's funeral, so I was so excited to see pictures and video of how it turned out. And everyone said it was awesome. 

Of course, since it was Thanksgiving and all, we had a fabulous Thanksgiving feast, played lots of games, and listened to my Grandma tell stories. We also shot some clay pigeons and set up some sweet targets. It was freeeeeezing cold, but it was really fun. 

Just before we left, we also got to go and see my cousin Kelsey open her mission call! I'm so excited for her and proud of her! She'll be serving in New York. She is going to be an amazing missionary!

She was so so excited when she opened her call and read where she'll be going for 18 months.
