I have lots of things I need to post about, but I'll just start with this. I GRADUATED! JOSH GRADUATED! Its seriously the best feeling in the world. And although I still feel like I should be going to school in the morning, I'm sure that feeling will wear off soon!

On Thursday, Josh finally got a nose job. Just kidding, but he did have surgery on his nose. He has had sinus problems forever and hopefully once he's finally healed it will all be gone. He also had a deviated septum so they straightened that out and when all the packing is dissolved he'll be able to breathe like a normal person! When we called the hospital to get the time of surgery and everything, they said to plan on six hours. I thought for sure that would be waaaay too long. I was wrong. His surgery was at least two hours and then I sat in his recovery room with him for four hours afterwards. He had really high blood pressure and was really out of it so they kept us there until everything was normal. Originally they said the surgery would be about 1.5 hours and then they'd call me back. When 2 hours came and went I got really nervous. I started to think about what my life would be like without Josh and I honestly couldn't even imagine it. Luckily, my phone rang a few minutes later and the doctor told me everything went well and I could see him soon.

This is how he looked for an hour after surgery...
And for the next three.. ha
When we finally were set to leave, I left to pull the car around to pick him up and he never came out. I went in and he was headed back to his bed. Apparently getting up and into the wheel chair made him really sick and he had to rest for 20 minutes. It was such a long day and I was so excited when we finally home. The past few days Josh just eats, sleeps, lays in bed, does nasal rinses, and sleeps some more. He's getting better, slowly but surely. I can't wait until he's back to normal!

| These are all our kids minus one. They were a rowdy bunch some days! |
Josh and I got released from nursery. I cried. Its seriously the best calling I've ever had! We were with the cutest 2 and 3 year olds in the world (besides our nieces and nephews..) and loved teaching them. And they loved us! Sometimes in sacrament meeting one of them would come sit with us, it was just the cutest thing. We also loved teaching together. It was so fun to be with Josh for all three hours of church and play with little kids. I also loved the lessons. Each one was basically one small principle or doctrine said over and over in different ways, but in a way, that is really what is important. I am a child of God. My family loves me. Families are forever. I can pray to Heavenly Father. Jesus loves me. Sometimes its good to step back and just remember those basic things, eat some snacks, and play with friends. Nursery really is the best calling in the church and serving with my husband made it even better. The last day the kids all gave us hugs and I got teary eyed after each one put their tiny arms around me.
Now, I'm the Valiant 9 teacher. What do I know about 9 year olds? 2 and 3 year olds are easy, give them a snack, let them color a picture, and they instantly love you. 9 year olds can read. 9 year olds have real lessons! But, they're learning about church history and the Doctrine and Covenants this year and I'm excited to study and learn from them. Wish me luck!
