Hatteras, NC

This trip was a LONG time coming. I felt like when we finally got it planned we still had forever to wait until the trip was finally here. But now, its come and gone and I wish that we were still there today! Instead, I'm looking through pictures and writing about how much fun we had... It was seriously so fun to be with the brothers and their families and my mom and dad. All under one gigantic roof! (Except for Elder Kevin.) We ate tons and tons of good food and treats, played games, laughed, enjoyed the beach, and loved being together as a family! Can't wait until the next family trip!

Josh and I got to ride in the smallest airplane Delta has! Our heads grazed the ceiling as we walked to our seats and I bet if I laid down my feet and head could touch both sides. It was an interesting 1.5 hour flight!

Our nephew Josh wanted to do Family Home Evening. He was so cute and assigned different people to do songs and prayers and the lesson. He assigned Grandpa to do the lesson. Brad and Tate are helping out Grandpa with the lesson here.

From the top of the lighthouse, this dead juvenile whale was spotted... so naturally we had to go check it out! Surprisingly, it wasn't smelly and was a lot smaller and more decayed then I thought it would be.

 So grateful for these two! They are so cute and fun and raised us well! We all love being together, playing together, and laughing together and its all because of them! They made sure everyone could be able to come on this trip and we're so glad we were able to come!

baBEE shower

While we were in Hatteras, NC for our very fun family reunion my awesome family threw a surprise baby shower for Linsy and I. Darin and Linsy are also having a baby girl in September and we're so excited for them! Our family is finally getting more granddaughters! After September, there will be 9 grandkids- 5 boys and 4 girls! 

Marianne was the brains behind the whole thing, along with my Mom. She throws the best parties! Alyssa and Dawn also helped plan the different games and treats and all of them gave us the CUTEST baby gifts!

The whole kitchen was completely decked out in the cutest bee decor! Fancy straws, cute table cloths, hanging bees and balls and banners. A lot of time and work went into this shower!

 Mom's game, "When will your baby be born?" We all had to guess what time our baby would be "born" or melted completely out of the ice cube. Darin and I had our babies born at the exact same time! Maybe its a sign!

Bryce and I had "nap time" and without even looking at each other or each other's drawings we drew the same picture! 

Opening up gifts for our babies! These blankets were made by BRYCE and his gf Nellie. Yes, Nellie taught Bryce how to crochet and they made these blankets for our sweet babes.

We also got a cute bow and outfit from Erik and Dawn, an awesome blanket made by Alyssa from Cory and Alyssa, and cute onesies with a 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 on them for monthly growing pictures of the baby from Brad and Marianne. I'm so lucky to have such talented sister-in-laws and mom! We were completely surprised by the baby shower and so excited to get such cute baby stuff! It was so fun being surrounded by my family and all of us celebrating our sweet baby! 

The world is getting a little "Green"er

Josh and I are SO excited because we are adding to our little Green family! 

 So excited and nervous to find out I was pregnant! 

My cute husband surprised me by cleaning the kitchen, mopping the floors, and buying me chocolate and flowers while I was at a meeting the next night. 

It was really hard to even believe we were actually going to have a baby until our first doctor's appointment and even then it was still hard to believe. He pulled out the ultrasound machine and pointed to a little blob on the screen and said, "There's your baby!" 

And then I got sick and it was easy to believe I was pregnant. This is how I spent the majority of the next 6ish weeks...the true beauty of pregnancy. Then I caught a cold which led to an ear infection, and a really bad sore throat still with the nausea all day long. The worst part about feeling sick all day, especially when you LOVE eating food, is that nothing sounds good. Except chicken nuggets. And pizza. Luckily I have an awesome husband who not only kept up with the laundry, cleaning, cooking, and his job, but also getting me chicken nuggets and pizza whenever I asked. He also had to eat the pot roast leftovers ONLY when I was in our room with the door shut and the window open. The day before I started feeling really nauseous, I made pot roast for dinner and only ate a little bit before feeling sick. After that, the smell, thought, or even looking at the pot roast made me sick. To tell you the truth, even though I'm not sick all day anymore, I'm still scared of pot roast ha

Luckily, the day I hit 12 weeks I was miraculously healed. I felt 100% better and I haven't felt really sick since!

 We told our parents with an Easter package and an ultrasound of our sweet babe in the golden egg.

 Baby Green waving hello! 

Sometime between 17 and 20 weeks my belly popped out! Since getting over my nauseous days, I really didn't feel pregnant because I basically looked the same, just a little tubby. So I was glad when I started to look pregnant instead of just like I ate too much. I'm sure I'll regret that comment in the future when I'm huge, but its nice to have people look at me now and automatically know I'm pregnant instead of looking at my stomach with a confused look on their face. 

20 weeks at the beach in Outer Banks for our Jurgensmeier reunion. Linsy is also having a girl and she was 22 weeks. Brad is just funny. This picture is a semi-remake of this picture when Linsy was pregnant with Beau.

We found out at 19 weeks that we were having a sweet little GIRL! We're so excited and nervous to be parents. At first I was a little bummed that pregnancy lasts soooo long because I want our baby to be here now! But I definitely still need time to get ready to be a mom! And now, that I'm over halfway done, I feel like time will fly! It is so fun to feel our little girl moving around now and to start collecting baby things! Baby girl things are just SO cute but so far we've been really good at not going crazy and buying everything in sight! Can't wait for September 23rd!
