Josh & I are still waiting for the "school mode" to go away. We both come home from work and start stressing about homework. Hopefully after this week that will change and the weather will start to get better! Then we'll be in our "summer mode" ha
I'm working at Myler Disability again and it's actually a little weird...
First of all, they went all high tech on me! I walked in the building, or I guess I tried to walk in, but the door was locked. The receptionist had to "buzz" me in and everyone was wearing a lanyard with a photo ID on it. Everyone has a key card that you have to hold just right in front of a scanner deal and it'll open the door. Believe me, its very sensitive... I sat there for a good 5 minutes with my key card after my lunch break trying to figure out how to get in the door! I held it on the scanner, the light turned green, I turned the door handle, and NOTHING. I flipped the card over, tried it again, and I was still locked out. So, that means either I'm technologically challenged, or maybe that's the way they fire you, just deactivate your key card. Genius idea I think, no tears or hard feelings, you're just locked out of the building! Unless you do what I do now, try to time my walking from the car to the building perfectly so someone else uses their card and holds the door for me haha
Second weird thing: All my good friends I made last year have either switched departments or quit. I see some of them in the break room or at lunch but we don't work together and see each other constantly anymore. And I'm not supervising of a team of people anymore, in fact, I'm on the same team that I used to lead and the supervisors are people I trained! It's a little weird, but my boss told me they were making changes in the next 2 weeks and I'll most likely be moved to supervisor once again. Crossing my fingers!
I love helping people who actually need Social Security Disability and laughing at the weird things people who are just trying to get free money tell me in order to get disability. On Monday a girl told me she has a metal heart that doesn't work as well as a real one so she needed disability. Also, I talked to someone with a super thick accent who immediately hung up when I asked if they were a US citizen. I'm looking forward to helping people in need and some good laughs this summer (and figuring out how to use my key card!)
Josh is super busy with Green & Greener again. He comes home after dark every night tired and smelling like grass and
I also am trying to cook better and healthier meals. And, well, recipes that look super delicious online and in the cook books we got for our wedding. Last night I made stuffed bell peppers. They were delicious! I wish I took a picture of them because they were definitely 5 star restaurant quality. At least that's what Josh thought...
We're loving life and excited to do some camping, hanging out in the sun, putting our "Pass of all passes" to use, and going to some weddings this summer! Life is good :)

Oh I'm so excited for summer to be here! I've always known that when May gets here that it's time to be outside in shorts and flip flops. Can't wait for the weather to catch up with my summer excitement! :) Good luck with the job!
