Last week, my MIL asked me to go pick up some shoes for her at a store in the mall. She had them ordered in, they were only going to hold them for another day and she couldn't get down to Provo in time. Since I drive past the mall everyday, it was no big deal. After work, I stopped in at the mall, wandered around to see if there were any amazing sales going on(which there was, I bought some sweet sandals), and then went to the shoe store. Everyone was pretty busy except for a girl who looked semi-new at the shoe selling business. I asked her for the shoes for Laura, waited, received the said shoes, asked if I needed to do anything, to which she answered "No" and then I walked out. Several of the girls working there said, "Thanks for coming! Have a nice day!" as I walked out of the store holding the box of shoes.
I gave them to Josh to take to his Mom when he went up to Midway for work the next day. Laura gave me $20 for getting the shoes for her and I was a bit surprised since she already paid for the shoes. When I asked her about it, she said they wouldn't let her pay when she was at the store and said to pay when she picked them up.
Apparently I'm a thief. And I'm pretty good at it.
I'm so good, I didn't even realize I was doing it!
Here's a few key steps to successfully stealing shoes.
1. Have someone go in the store before you and put some shoes on hold.
2. Make sure you ask the least experienced sales person for help in getting the shoes from the back.
3. To make her feel good, pretend like everything is good and politely ask if there's anything else she'd like you to do.
4. Casually walk out of the store acknowledging the other sales people.
5. You've successfully stolen a $20 pair of shoes. Congratulations!
(Don't worry, the shoes will be paid for, I don't wanna get a bad rep, I love that shoe store!)

Hey that's awesome! Waaaay better than the popcorn ball I stole from a Relief Society activity when I was like 5. (My mom made me take it back to Tami Harman and apologize. I cried. I didn't mean to steal!)
