I quit my job at Myler Disability a few weeks ago in time for school to start. It was a little bitter sweet leaving. I have quite a few friends there, I enjoyed helping people, leading a team, and I do miss getting my paycheck every 2 weeks. But it is nice to just be in school again and not have to be at work 40 hours a week anymore. Here was my "sweet" setup at work. (I took a picture as I left so just imagine the wall behind my computer filled with pics of my family and friends...)

Just a few of the fun books I'm looking forward to reading this semester...
Josh and I are back in school for another year and its going pretty well. I like my schedule and my classes are pretty interesting so far. Bryce and I have a class together three times a week so its fun seeing him a lot. Unfortunately, all my teachers got together and scheduled all their tests this semester on the same 3 days every month- starting Friday and going through Monday. Guess once a month I'll have one weekend devoted to tests and stress! Josh has class just 2 days a week, but those days are jam packed with classes. He starts in the morning and doesn't get done until 8pm on Tues. and 4pm on Thurs. He also is still working Mon, Wed, Fri, and some Saturdays as well. |

I nearly chopped off the bottom part of my toe this weekend. Literally, that cut was suuuper deep! Word of advice: Never drill into metal while wearing flip flops as it could lead to the metal flying out of control, lots of pain, and lots of blood. LOTS of blood. it was scary. Luckily Josh was there to clean up all the blood on the sidewalk and my flip flop then help me to the bathroom to clean up my toe and survey the damage. Unluckily he had to pour alcohol on it and I screamed(and cried). At least he let me squeeze the life out of his arm while he did it. :) I also had to wear gauze around it for 2 days because it was bleeding so badly and my primary kids got a kick out of it when they saw it yesterday.
So that's us lately. We're loving teaching primary especially since our class size doubled when a new family moved in, we're enjoying school, and loving life!
Wow you guys have had some pretty big disasters lately! The worst we've had recently is that the frozen hamburger fell out of the freezer on me yesterday! :)
