Today is my Mom's birthday! She is the sweetest, most helpful, and most loving person I know. She is always finding one way or another to brighten someone's day or to help them out with anything. She rarely missed any soccer, basketball, wrestling, track, tennis, baseball, or volleyball games. Whenever one of us kids procrastinated doing a huge school project, she'd stay up until 4 am helping us finish the night before it was due, then wake up at 6 am to get everyone else up and make breakfast. One thing I really miss is having her come in my room at night, lay in bed with me, and just talk. She always puts our wants/needs before hers. Even though I'm living away from home, she still finds ways to take care of me. This weekend, my brothers went home and came back with tons of things my mom sent for me. I am so grateful to have her as a mother. She is not only my mother, but she is my best friend. I hope that one day I will be half the wife and mother that she is. I love you mom!

ReplyDeletewell, I have been known to wrestle with the brothers haha but i was just listing all the many sports all of us kids did. darin, bryce, & kev did wrestling in junior high.. definitely not me! thanks for your comment!
