There is a desert a couple miles north of my house in Rupert, a place I've only been a few times in search of the Kimima Lights. (Lights that mysteriously appear in the desert.. its spooky..) Well, last night in my dream, I was there again and my friends Sadie, Cris, and Kurt were there too. We were sledding down a huge butte in a TON of snow. After a while, I noticed a huge factory behind me. It was sending out so much smoke, that I started coughing and I couldn't breathe. Don't ask me how we were sledding perfectly fine for hours before I noticed it.. Anyway, I also noticed a few small dots in the air that were quickly becoming larger. Soon I realized they were planes with African flags painted on the bottom. Kurt yelled for us to dive for cover in a boxcar of a train that suddenly appeared next to the butte. After all 4 of us were safely inside, Cris told us it was 9/11 and they were bombing the World Trade Center. I told her she couldn't be right, that it was 2010 and that happened almost nine years ago, but as I turned to look at the factory, we were in New York, and the factory had somehow transformed into the Twin Towers. They were on smoke and the sound of guns and bombs were going off like crazy. Now I was scared to death. I turned back to my friends and they were gone. Instead, my new roommate was standing there. With a bloody knife. I knew that she was from Africa, and since the planes had African flags on them, I figured she had something to do with it. Naturally, I took off running. Next thing I know, I'm in my swimming suit running toward the hot pots in Midway, UT. Kurt and Cris were there, but Sadie was still missing. Finally I saw her in the distance but she was still decked out in her snow gear. She said she couldn't come in because Kurt was there. Apparently while I was running from New York to Utah, they'd gotten married, honeymooned in Hawaii, and Kurt left her there on the beach. I guess I run pretty slow. So I got out and walked through a garage that suddenly appeared to go talk to Sadie, but when I got to the door, it turned into the Green's house. Josh's mom was making dinner and asked me to make a salad. As I walked into the kitchen, it turned into my apartment in Provo. I walked in my room and got into bed. Next thing I know, my new roommate is standing in my room in the dark muttering something in a strange language. With a bloody knife. Seems like I didn't get away from her after all... At this point, I woke up, nervously looked around my room and tried to convince myself it was just a dream, but I couldn't. I had to turn on the light and tell myself that I would buy a doorknob with a lock on it soon. Just in case.

2nd thoughts?
This morning, I'm not sure about this roommate from a different country thing. I mean, so far, I've lived in an apartment of girls all from California, an apartment full of girls all from Orem, UT, and an apartment full of girls from Lindon, UT. Not much variety. In fact, I've been the "foreign" one in every apartment I've lived in. Idaho isn't really foreign I guess, so I was just the odd man out. Always. However, with this girl from Africa (I promise I'll figure out her name one day), Idaho is not foreign at all.
