Shattering backboards at 16. What will he do next? He also signed several of the larger pieces and gave each of us one. My piece is proudly sitting on my shelf in my apartment as we speak.
I've really been missing all my family and it was so fun to all be crammed in the house together once again. Almost everyone (minus Erik, Dawn, & Elizabeth-missed you guys!) was there so, we did what my family always does when we're together, play games, laugh, eat, watch movies, be goofy, and just enjoy being with each other. It was wonderful.
It was also very exciting to finally meet this little guy! Beau is such a cute little guy! I loved holding him. Josh was excited to meet his new cousin as well. They wouldn't stop staring at each other!
I also was able to spend some time with the Green's during the break. Josh's niece Lucy met me at the door and gave me a big hug, and Halie soon followed. I love those girls! We went snowmobiling one day, and since I've never been, I was very excited/nervous. It was soooo fun! We also went sledding, played in the snow, played games, and enjoyed their jacuzzi. However, one night we did NOT enjoy the jacuzzi. It smelt a little funky one day, but we decided it was still ok to get in. After sitting in if for a couple hours, we decided that it was a little too smelly for us, and we should clean it out in the morning. The next day we did, and it was way dirtier than we thought. We even found a little surprise in the filters... Thinking back on that, we probably shouldn't have even put our feet in. That's one thing I will NEVER do again. Sadly, this is the only picture I have from the Green's, and it only has half of Halie's head.It was definitely hard to go back to school after such a wonderful break.
