One of my best friends, Keisha, decided to go on a mission. She got called to the Iowa Des Moines mission and she gave her "farewell'' talk on Father's day. I have always looked up to her. She's one of the funniest, happiest, most outgoing girls I know and whenever we're together its always a blast! She is going to be such an amazing missionary and I'm excited to read her letters and see what happens in the next 18 months!

I also got to see one of my other best friends who is going to have a little baby girl really soon! (although by looking at her you'd never guess).
We were also able to be home to celebrate Father's day with my Dad. We went and saw the house he's building now and it reminded me of all the hot,
miserable wonderful summer days working for him. Since its a house by the river, it also reminded me of the summer I spent building by the river and unfortunately stepped on a nail one day. I highly recommend NOT doing that...
I'm so glad he's my Dad. He's goofy, he's funny, he loves games, he is a worthy priesthood holder, he works hard, he gives good advice, he is always willing to help others, and he loves me no matter what.
